Ghana: AgriCorps

AgriCorps connects American agricultural volunteers to the demand for experiential, school-based, agricultural education in developing countries. The organization, led by Trent McKnight, started operating in Ghana with the support of the Center on Conflict and Development. Trent McKnight is a Texas rancher, philanthropist, and leading scholar and innovator in youth education. ConDev Director Ed Price is a former member of AgriCorps’ Board of Directors.

Watch Trent McKnight's TED Talk about The Power of Youth Here: You're Doing it Wrong, Dad!

In this short video, AgriCorps volunteer John Romo is named sub-chief of development for his contributions during his time in Adarkwa, Ghana.
