Sam Priestley
RESEARCH ASSISTANT & Ph.D. STUDENT
Sam is a second-year Agricultural Economics Ph.D. student working as a research assistant for Dr. Edwin Price in the Center on Conflict and Development and for Dr. Marco Palma in the Human Behavior Lab.
His research interests are conflict & development and experimental economics. He is working on a project with Dr. Edwin Price and Dr. James Mjelde analyzing how different forms of foreign assistance affect conflict. In the Human Behavior Lab, he is studying intergenerational transfers of human capital and the goal of this research is to apply it to a real-world situation in a developing country.
